Which Lightweight Double Pushchair Should You Buy?

They can accommodate a larger car seat, and some have reversible seats or an extra carrycot in the middle. They are more spacious, and easier to get in and out of. However the baskets they use tend to be smaller than those on single buggies. Tandem lightweight double strollers will usually make tighter turning than side-by-side models. However, they could be more difficult to navigate on uneven surfaces and curbs. They are also slower to accelerate and are heavier to move. This can put stress on your back.
A convertible double buggy is another option. It starts out as a single however, you can add adapters to convert it into double. These can include a second seat or carrycot on the front or children can be seated side-byside. Some may have the option of including a buggyboard, which helps an older child keep up with younger siblings or brothers.
